Course Description

The E-learning Solutions Apprenticeship Training (ELSAT) program is a personal development training program. The course is known as The 21st Century Soft Skills — Smart Knacks for life since it facilitates the learner to acquire necessary skills to successfully survive in the 21st century. The aim of this programme is to equip young adults with soft skills to allow them to be all rounded and fit in the workplace successfully. The program is targeted to young adults who are in the final year of their technical training in post-secondary tertiary institutions or those who have freshly graduated from these institutions. The program uses experiential learning techniques and the training is self paced done through an online platform that enables one to learn at a time and place that is most convenient for them. The training is highly interactive through synchronized discussions and tutor support. The topics covered in the training include:

  4. Managing my health
  5. Leadership
  6. Citizenship
  7. Understanding the world of work
  8. Financial literacy

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, the participants will be able to;

  • Demonstrate improved personal management including social assets for resilience, flexibility and adaptability, willingness to learn and personal development
  • Exhibit enhanced communication and interpersonal skills for better relationships
  • Demonstrate critical and creative thinking, problem solving and decision making, coping with emotions as well as leadership skills
